Reading and discussing the Word of God has become a focal point of my spiritual life.

There hasn’t been a moment that I can’t remember loving music. (Pardon the double negative.) Still play and write, and am in a couple of bands.

I was trained as a writer by my father (a hobbyist painter who was a frustrated writer, too), my English teachers and Journalism professors. Ever since childhood, I just can’t help myself…I have to write.

Summer reading in my early grades was somewhat freeform, but one great thing my father did for me was agree to give me a quarter for every book I finished. Science fiction, biographies, history, crime fiction, thrillers, I just love getting immersed in a good story.

I’ve always been fascinated by technology…toys are so much fun.
